Tricking the eye with Strange Worlds

Strange Worlds

Well worth a look is Matthew Albanese’s work titled Strange Worlds. Here he describes what he does:

I would describe the photography that I do as small scale dioramas that I build by hand out of everyday, simple, mundane materials and transform them into an image through the lens of my camera making them look hyper-realistic.

Browsing through his impressive photo collection you could easily be mistaken that these are actual locations rather than tiny sets created in a photography studio. Truly breathtaking.

About Joe

I've been an avid photographer for about 15 years now. It started out when I got my first decent digital camera, which was an Olympus C700 Ultra zoom, a great camera which allowed me experiment with a range of photography styles. After that I moved on to SLRs, mostly with Canon, and enjoy all forms of photography although I'd probably say I most enjoy wide-angle landscape photography. My day job is to run this website, so I hope you enjoy your visit!
