Now, how do you get to take photos of a Lion without having to use a massive 800mm super telephoto or without being eaten? You use a remote control car with a camera attached of course, cutely named Beetlecam.
Will Burrard-Lucas and his brother Matt came up with this great idea and have undertaken several trips to Africa to take photos of Lions, elephants, buffalos, you name it!
It looks like some of their Beetlecams have taken a bit of a pounding, but what a great idea! I hope their Canon 1Ds Mark III is insured.
