There’s an exhibition of photographs of Captain Scott’s ill fated Antarctic expedition running at the Chris Beetles Fine Photographs Gallery in London.
Taken by Scott’s expedition camera artist – Herbert Ponting – it’s a collection of some 60 breathtaking photographs. This is well worth a visit if you’re in London, and even if you’re not, you can still grab a look on the gallery website.
The exhibition is running up to the 23rd March 2013.
