It looks like the latest version of Photoshop will have a cool camera shake reduction tool. Say goodbye to all those lenses with expensive image stabilisation and hello to a copy of Photoshop 🙂

Pop photo run a monthly photography competition where the best shot wins a princely $300. As they mention on their competition page, there are no category restrictions, just submit a cracking photo. The deadline is May 1st so get entering.
Well Sigma have a new lens out, the Sigma 18-35mm f/1.8 DC HSM. It has a maximum aperture of F1.8, which is quite handy. I wonder if this could be a competitor to the Canon 17-40mm F4L.
The Royal Photographic Society in the UK are offering bursaries for photography projects which promote environmental awareness. Each bursary can be up-to &3000 and can cover photographic equipment, travel costs, and other related expenses. This seems like a great opportunity and one not to be missed.
Canon have come up with a great walkthrough on exposure settings in their photography guide. They also have this great little application which allows you to adjust a specific shot and immediately see what the results would be so you can gain a better understanding of how different exposure settings work.
Here’s another photography competition, along the theme of trees. The top prize is $400 however it costs $20 to submit 4 photos. The deadline for entry is 27th May 2013.
